Connecting Visual Intelligences at the Edge for Decision Dominance
Resilient UxVs/AI/Teams Collaboration Embedded in Mobile C4I Vehicles
C4I benefits are often confined to personnel in the C4I vehicle. The Virtual Situation Room extends access via a simple mobile link, enabling real-time collaboration. Teams on the move gain greater situational awareness, seamless interaction, and quick decision-making.
BINZ provides solutions to accelerate decisions when minutes matter.
Binz-Automotive GmbH manufactures over 1,500 specialized vehicles annually for rescue services, emergency departments, and defense government organizations, making it one of the leading companies in this sector. Based in Germany, Binz-Automotive designs and produces vehicles engineered to perform reliably under the most demanding conditions, with safety and dependability as top priorities.
Through its collaboration with TU Ilmenau, Binz remains at the forefront of technological innovation, offering advanced solutions such as Incident Command Vehicles (ICVs), which function as mobile command and coordination centers.
With the explosion of visual information in amount and value, Mobile C4Is must evolve. Eyeson One View technology integrated into the BINZ ICVs enables the concept of Virtual Situation Rooms.
What is a Virtual Situation Room
The Virtual Situation Room transforms command and control approaches by creating a single stream that fuses all visual information feeds and allows for interactive visual collaboration with teams on the go.
Troops can easily join the Virtual Situation Room stream, which includes live videos from UAVs, C4I screens, maps, and other metadata. Live discussions are enabled in the same stream, and information dispatching and critical discussions occur in the same virtual instance. The OODA (Observe, Orient, Decide, Act) loop is managed in a single media stream and is considerably accelerated with the assistance of AI.
- Any C4I Screens to the Mobiles
- Add UAV videos, System Screens, metadata
- Integrated live interactive collaboration
- Add remote participants easily (remote experts)
- Synchronized view for all participants
- AI-driven Layouts, filter, enrich, assist
- Resilient communication over low bandwidth & challenged networks (wireless, SATCOM)
- Server Embedded in the vehicle, AI at the edge

Binz Automotive’s mission is to deliver the best C4I Command Vehicles to public safety and defense organizations. Recognizing the critical need to accelerate decision-making cycles and ensure real-time situational awareness for teams “on the go”, we have integrated Eyeson technology into our Integrated Command Vehicle (ICV) solutions. Eyeson’s software offers unparalleled capabilities for connecting remote teams, synchronizing their operations, and delivering real-time situational awareness to the field that rivals the experience of being physically present in the command vehicle. This integration empowers our users to maintain operational continuity and make informed decisions, no matter where deployed.
Embedded at the Edge with AI Integration
AI integration is becoming crucial due to the explosive growth of real-time visual content. Eyeson's technology enables seamless integration of any AI model with the various real-time datasets available in the MCU+.
The right AI models and datasets can be associated to optimize latency, computing, and energy consumption. The technology centralizes and synchronizes multiple data sources at a single edge point, processing real-time information in various formats. The edge server hosting the Eyeson MCU+ and the AI models is embedded in the BINZ C4I vehicle.
Operators can utilize cost-effective drones (of any manufacturer) through AI processing offloaded to edge servers. In the Virtual Situation Rooms, AI can be used for real-time source classification, automated layout management, object detection, stream routing, and event prediction. Humans remain in the loop for supervision and collaboration, and Visual intelligences are connected.
