Smart Bandwidth
Eyeson's patented Smart Bandwidth modifies each client's audio and video frame- and bit-rate. This creates a resilient connection for challenging settings.
Optimal Experience Over Any Networks
Eyeson’s patented smart bandwidth management ensures the highest possible video and audio quality for all participants with ultra low latency, adapting in real-time to network conditions and device capabilities. This allows Omnimedia live content sharing and real-time collaboration, even over weak wireless or satcom networks.

Optimizing Quality for Every Client Based on Network Conditions
Smart Bandwidth Management facilitates dynamic bandwidth adjustment by adapting frame and bit rates in audio and video codecs. This leads to bandwidths from 180 kbps for radio and 300 kbps for satellite to 1500 kbps on Wifi and LAN. Essentially, the MCU+ generates optimized quality streams to the connected clients, varying in resolution, bitrate and frame rate, thus always ensuring the best quality for the clients.

Choosing the best quality stream for each user is made possible by harnessing RTCP feedback and Transport Wide Congestion Control (TWCC), guaranteeing peak performance tailored to each user. This approach continuously adjusts to the specific network conditions of every client, ensuring a seamless experience whether they're connected through LAN/WLAN, mobile networks like 3G/4G/5G, or even SATCOM.
We successfully supported a partner in finetuning a satellite-based embedded deployment to accommodate 6 participants and 3 send-only sources with a maximum bandwidth of < 300 kbps.
Frequently Asked Questions
We want to simplify your life. In the following you see answers to some questions that might arise.
Absolutely. In large-scale deployments where multiple users or devices are connected simultaneously, Smart Bandwidth Management ensures that each client receives an optimized stream tailored to its specific network conditions. This not only enhances individual user experience but also maintains overall network efficiency and stability.
Yes, in low-bandwidth environments, Smart Bandwidth Management is particularly advantageous. By reducing the bitrate and frame rate while maintaining essential quality parameters, it allows for the transmission of media streams that are still usable and effective, even under constrained bandwidth conditions.
